Police say 18 motorists snapped by a speed camera along the 6800 to 7800 block of High Bridge Road in Bowie on September 25 will have their tickets waived or reimbursed because of a problem with the camera.

Officials say the camera was not supposed to be operating on a Sunday. They say the error was specific to this particular camera, which was improperly programmed, and has since been fixed.
